In celebrating the scholastic achievements, talents, and beauty of our African American women, you may be eligible to represent our state in the national competition for the Miss Black USA Scholarship Pageant.

Qualifications are as follows:

• Completed application with nonrefundable $25 registration fee (money orders or bank check only) email missblacktn@yahoo.com and a professional jpeg photo via email to be used in program book if selected 
• Must be a resident of the state of Tennessee during year of pageant
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 27
• Must be single and never been married
• Must have at time of application a 2.5 grade point average or higher
• Must submit a copy of your most current transcript

Prizes are as follows:

• Winner will receive:  $1,500 College Scholarship, One Year Reigning Queen as MBTN Spokesperson, Personal Tiara w/ Case and Official Sash, Represent our State in the National Competition, 3 Tier Trophy, Spa Package Certificate, Promotional & Endorsement Opportunities, Rose Bouquet, Pageant T-Shirt, Promotional Opportunities in the Community and other consolation prizes.

• First Runner Up will receive:  $1,000 College Scholarship, 2 Tier Trophy, Flower Bouquet, Pageant T-Shirt, Promotional Opportunities in the Community and other consolation prizes.

• Second Runner Up will receive:  $500 College Scholarship, 2 Tier Trophy, Flower Bouquet, Pageant T-Shirt, Promotional Opportunities in the Community and other consolation prizes.

• Third and Fourth Runner Up will receive:  2 Tier Trophy, Flower Bouquet, Pageant T-Shirt, Promotional Opportunities in the Community and other consolation prizes.

• All competing contestants will receive:  Official Pageant Certificate, Pageant T-Shirt, Promotional Opportunities in the Community and other consolation prizes.

• Special gifts & recognition will be given to the following:  Academic Award Winner, Evening Gown Award Winner, Miss Congeniality Award Winner & Top Ticket Seller.
